The Land Office Journal is the place to check for news and online publications of interest to Kentucky historians, genealogists, surveyors and engineers. Submissions approved for this website are added to the Journal pages upon receipt. We encourage submitters to send announcements and publications in a timely manner to ensure maximum coverage. Event coordinators are encouraged to submit announcements for consideration for this portion of the Journal website. The Kentucky Secretary of State's Office is delighted to promote these special events as a public service.

Researchers are encouraged to view Press Releases and Announcements by Kentucky's Secretary of State Trey Grayson regarding new postings to the Secretary of State's website. Exciting new features and databases will be added to the entire website, including the Land Office pages, in the near future.
