What is new on the Land Office website? Has the date been set for a book fair or your favorite seminar? The Land Office Journal is the place to check for news and online publications of interest to Kentucky historians, genealogists, surveyors and engineers. Submissions approved for this website are added to the Journal pages upon receipt. We encourage submitters to send announcements and publications in a timely manner to ensure maximum coverage. Kentucky History fascinates (and intrigues) researchers around the world. In the Articles portion of the Land Office Journal, we are presenting a variety of published (and non-published) manuscripts and databases that are certain to be interesting and informative. 

To find out information regarding book fairs, seminars, elderhostels, and other special events of interest to genealogists, historians, surveyors and engineers throughout the Commonwealth, check the Kentucky Land Office Calendar. Event coordinators are encouraged to submit announcements for consideration for this portion of the Journal website. The Kentucky Secretary of State's Office is delighted to promote these special events as a public service.

Does your organization generate an online publication that would be of interest to Kentucky's historians, genealogists, surveyors and engineers? We invite you to submit your newsletter or online publication for inclusion in Online Publications. Submissions approved for Online Publications are added to the Journal pages upon receipt.

Researchers are encouraged to view Press Releases and Announcements by Kentucky's Secretary of State Trey Grayson regarding new postings to the Secretary of State's website. Exciting new features and databases will be added to the entire website, including the Land Office pages, in the near future.
